The Ice-Age America art project allows one student to make a replica of three real Ice-Age spears (two Clovis points and one Gypsum Cave point) and a replica of a Native American axe.The packet includes all of the supplies needed. You supply a few common tools (scissors, glue, a pencil, an oven, a student); we supply detailed instructions, and your student will be able to produce a beautiful and lasting work of art. Missions: PreK - 2, Downloadable PDF |
 |
This is the first in what I hope will be a long line of beginner books: Missions. My aim is to introduce very young students (preK-2nd grade) to the vocabulary of art and architecture.
This volume presents the vocabulary of Spanish missions, and provides students with new terms such as "pediment," "oculus," and "buttress." These are illustrated with images of missions from California and Texas. Included are silly cartoon animals and goofy text.
To read more about the beginner books see my blog: Beginner Books.
